William Yates is a family run business, and has been so since 1750. We manufacture sterling silver table cutlery produced from top quality .925 silver and hand ground stainless steel knife blades.

We are based in Sheffield City centre, the home of quality cutlery. We at William Yates aim to give customer satisfaction with prompt delivery of first class products.

Knives: We manufacture table, dessert and tea knives in over twenty patterns including the oldest, most traditional patterns. Three piece carvers are also available.

Spoon and Fork: We have an extensive spoon and fork range, manufactured and finished to the highest standards.

Canteens: Our silver canteens may be purchased in Kings, Rattail, Dubarry, Bead ,Old English, Grecian, Harley and Plain Fiddle. Many accessories may also be added to the basic canteen.

Letter Openers: Letter openers are available in 28 patterns both old and new. This includes our new Rapier pattern, which has been introduced especially for the Millennium.

Gift Items: We have a large selection of gift items including cheese scoops and knives, bar knives, brides knives. Cased child's sets containing a knife, fork and spoon and many other accompaniments to your canteen of cutlery.

Millennium: As this is the Millennium year, we introduced a wide range of Millennium products for you to purchase to keep as a momento, pass on to your family or give as a gift to a loved one.
